If you’re concerned about water temperature, inexpensive wetsuit rentals are still available at Sports Basement (Presidio location) for those not still acclimated to the current water temperatures. We expect water temps to stay in the mid to low fifties through the end of the year.

This offer is for a private small group swim booking with 5 or fewer swimmers/guests on the date/time specified only. The minimum age for passage is 18 years of age.
THIS COURSE IS NOT FOR NOVICES! This course is for experienced open water swimmers only. All swimmers must be capable of swimming for 60 minutes or more nonstop in 50°F/10°C water, using the front/forward crawl (“Freestyle”) exclusively.
This is a group swim and not a timed race. Swimmers must swim together, with the swim going at the pace of the slowest swimmer in the group. We strongly recommend you select participants that are of similar pace/speed. Swim aids such as wetsuits and fins are allowed.
Participants must confirm that they are physically, emotionally, and otherwise capable of safely and competently participating in this event and that they have received all the necessary medical evaluations for their safety. During the swim, each participant accepts sole responsibility for their conduct, actions, and compliance with the Pacific Open Water Swim Co’s rules, regulations, orders, and directions. Furthermore, each participant must agree not to conduct themselves in a way that would jeopardize or inconvenience other participants or affect the safety of the event, crew, or boat.
In the event that a “Force Majeure” event prevents the swim to take place (Meaning the swim is canceled by us due to weather, wind, fog, a safety concern, etc.), in lieu of an alternate swim date, we will only offer a credit/voucher for the amount paid toward this booking which may be applied toward a future swim of your choice (less any transaction fees). Although we strive to make future swims available at a mutually convenient date/time, we cannot guarantee that it will be possible.
All prices include transaction fees, which are non-refundable. This fare is not refundable and has significant cancellation fees.
We will send you a registration form to identify the swim participants. All participants must complete the swim background form and agree to the terms of Pacific Open Water Swim Co’s Waiver and Liability Release at least 48 hours before the swim.
MEETING LOCATION AND MEETING TIME
The date of your swim and meeting time is identified clearly on your booking confirmation. Be sure to allow sufficient travel time so that you arrive on time and are swim-ready at the “Meet Time” identified on your confirmation.
In all cases, we will start the safety briefing at the time shown. There is no delay so, like the tide, be on time.
IMPORTANT: If you miss any portion of the safety briefing, you will have forfeited the space on the swim without recourse for credit, refund, or any other consideration.
The meeting, departure, and return location for all swims is the Satterlee Breakwater Parking Lot at Travis Marina in Sausalito, CA (just 5 minutes from the north tower of the Golden Gate Bridge) only.
