2019 SF SailGP Races…
Join us for SailGP in the restricted spectator area inside the box!!

We will only have a small group (6-people max) on our 32′ twin-engine Cobalt powerboat in the spectator zone Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (May 3, 4, & 5th) for the insane SailGP races.

It’s a comfortable boat with plenty of viewing room. We’ll have a few drinks on board but you’re welcome to bring your own beer/wine/snacks. The boat is skippered by a USCG licensed captain rated OUPV/near coastal.
We’ll be boarding in Sausalito so there will be no parking headaches! Upon registration, we’ll mail you all of the details regarding meeting location, parking, etc.

What to Bring: Come ready for winter, but layer! It’s SF Bay, so it will likely be windy, cold, and you’ll likely get splashed/sprayed on the return, though we try to prevent this. A small fleece throw for your legs will make you happier.
Our Boat: We will be taking our 32′ twin-engine Cobalt out which seats 6 comfortably. It has an 8-1/2 ft beam, so it isn’t small but rather, just right. It’s considered a sport cruiser with a cabin/table in the bow, head with hand a washing sink, a microwave, which you are free to use for reheating. We also have a small refrigerator aboard for drinks, but we won’t have ice. We have a drink sink aboard so you’re welcome to bring a bag if you want to keep your drinks on ice… You’re also welcome to bring your own wine/beer and snacks/lunch if you’d like. Please, only bring non-breakable glassware. Our guests often share food and drinks, though no one is required to do so.
Our bimini top will be employed which should help to keep the sun off a bit, but you will be exposed to wind and occasionally spray when underway/cruising. The boat is moderately heavy, so we don’t get thrown around much in normal SF Bay chop. You are welcome to bring one backpack/small bag per person, Please no large coolers or luggage — there just isn’t room for your luggage! Small coolers which do not exceed the size of a standard backpack/bookbag are fine.
