We all understand that Alcatraz is the most famous and iconic open water swim available. Still, there is such a variety of water and conditions in San Francisco Bay that few understand how fantastic it really is to swim here. The challenge of tackling the cold waters of San Francisco Bay provides a unique and memorable experience. It’s an ideal swim for experienced open water swimmers, offering invigorating challenges that will always be remembered.
